Two airlines operate daily direct scheduled flights from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos to Santorini Airport. For timetables and company information please use the following links:-

Aegean Airlines operate a service from Thessaloniki and Olympic Aviation operate a service from Mykonos.

Santorini (Thira) National Airport

The airport, situated near Monolithos is only 8 km SE of the most popular tourist towns and villages and transfer time is usually no more than 15-20 minutes.

Olympic Aviation did operate the only scheduled bus service from the airport to Fira but at the time of writing (February 2002) it has been suspended.

There is a taxi rank across from the main terminal building. The fare to Fira from the airport should be no more than 15 Euro.

Many hotels on the island operate an airport transfer service and you should arrange this directly with your hotel well in advance of your arrival.
