Metro

The airport is connected to and from the city and Piraeus by Metro Line 3. Stations on the route are:

Doukissis Plakentias (connects with Suburban Rail)
Chaladri
Ethniki Amina
Katehaki
Panormou
Ambelokipi
Megaro Mousikis
Evagelismos
Syntagma (connection with Metro Line 2: Agios Antonios - Agios Dimitrios, "Alexandros Panagoulis")
Monastiraki (connection with Metro Line 1: Piraeus - Kifisia)

Trains operate every 30 minutes to and from the city. The journey time to Syntagma is 28 minutes and to Piraeus 60 minutes.

Bus


 All buses depart from the designated area on the inner curbside of the arrivals level of the Main Terminal Building exactly outside the Schengen Exit (doors 4-5)


Route:
Airport - Syntagma
(connects the airport to Syntagma Square in the centre of Athens via Attiki Odos, Mesogion Avenue, Sofias Avenue and Vas)

Service: Express Line E95 (24hour operation)

Details: From the airport: every 25 minutes (06:30-21:20), every 25-30 minutes (21:20-23:35), every 15-20 minutes (23:35-01:30) and every 30-35 minutes (01:30-06:30). Ticket cost: 2.9 Euro and valid for one journey from the airport plus unlimited use of the city metro, buses and trolley buses in a 24 hour period.

Route: Airport - Ethniki Amina (connects the Airport with the Ethniki Amina Metro Station. Passengers transfer from the Airport Bus to the Metro line at this point)

Service: Express Line E94

Details: From the airport: first bus 06:40, last bus 23.20. every 16 minutes (06:40-21:05) and every 25-30 minutes (21:05-23:20) Ticket cost: 2.9 Euro and valid for one journey from the airport plus unlimited use of the city metro, buses and trolley buses in a 24 hour period.

Taxi

The taxi queue is located at Door 4 of the Arrivals Level and extend up to Door 1. Chartered taxis will park and collect their clients on the outer side of the inner curb. Taxi prices from the airport to Syntagma Square, can vary between 25 and 35 Euro depending on the time of day you intend travelling.

Bus

Arriving buses disembark passengers at the designated area of the departure level of the Main Terminal Building.



Route:
Syntagma - Airport (Airport Express has its departure point at the center of Athens (Syntagma Square) and via Vas. Sofias Avenue, Mesogion Avenue and Attiki Odos terminating at the airport)

Service: Express Line E95 (24hour operation)

Details: From Syntagma: every 25 minutes. Ticket cost: 2.9 Euro and valid for one journey to the airport plus unlimited use of the city metro, buses and trolley buses in a 24 hour period.

Route: Ethniki Amina - Airport (connects the Ethniki Amina Metro Station with the Airport. Passengers can transfer from the Metro line to the Airport Bus at this departure point.)

Service: Express Line E94

Details: From Ethniki Amina: first bus 06:00, last bus 24.00. every 16 minutes (06:00-20:30) every 25-30 minutes (20:30-24:00) Ticket cost: 2.9 Euro and valid for one journey to the airport plus unlimited use of the city metro, buses and trolley buses in a 24 hour period.

Taxi

Taxis will unload passengers on the designated areas of the departure level at the main terminal.
