Ferry
Information
The
majority of sea arrivals are from Italian ports and mostly all
arrive at both Igoumenitsa and Patra. Piraeus
is Greece's busiest port and from here you will have access
to and arrive from the vast network of the country's islands.
Ships are grouped according to their destination and almost
anyone asked will be able to tell you the precise location of
any vessel. The cluster of ticket agents around the port are
competitive and usually the only reason for shopping around
is to find a faster or earlier ship. Ferry schedule details
can be obtained from the Port Authority on 4226000 or online
timetables from Greek
Island Ferries (incorporates all major Greek ferry lines)
or GTP Net.
You
should also use them to obtain timetable information if you
intend sailing to Mykonos from Piraeus.
